After prying open the lid of the box, the crook picked up the card and read out loud: "Dear Simon the Simian. After a recent break-in at my estate, in which some of my most precious antiques where almost stolen, I maneged to get the upper-hand on some of the fellas what was tryin' to steal my most precious belongings. After much contemplating on how to deal with them, I decided that instead of wasting them, I'd send 'em as a present to my most revered friends instead. I decided that since you've helped me and my family out so much through the years, I'm sending you the looker of the bunch. Do with her as you please. Sincerely, Don Bufo the Toad!"
Penelope could say she'd had better nights. First the heist went awry, half of the gang had been caught, and she'd spent at least two hours tied up in a pitch-black box. After what she believed was them hauling her onto a truck and about half an hour of driving, someone had finally opened the lid, thought the sight that met her wasn't much better. And she could only guess where on the planet the others were by now...
Simon lifted up his newest token of gratitude from the Don. Not what I expected, but not bad, he thought to himself as he looked around himself trying to think of what to do with his "present". Penelope didn't bother to struggle; she'd given up about an hour ago."Hmmm... " Simon said, mostly to himself. "How should I put you to use now that you're stuck with me for the rest of your life? I may have a spot open as toilett-scrubber. But on the other hand, you're pretty young and don't look half-bad. Those qualities fetch a good penny on the slave-market. I just hope it won't upset the Don that I sold his present to me..."
Yeah, after seeing the trailer for the new Sly 4 on PS3 (might just get myself a PS3 because of that!) and replaying Sly 3 because of it, I found myself wanting to draw even more art of little Penelope.
